Program overview

• The program runs from May 1st – August 15th, 2021
• You will meet with your mentor or mentee for a minimum of 5 hours over the course of the program
• All meetings will be held virtually
• It’s free!

Who should apply?

• Mentors: active professional in the field of user experience, graphic design, marketing, or motion graphics
• Mentees: students who are within two years of graduating, or designers in the early stages of their career

What to expect

Mentors:

• We’ll email you to let you know if we were able to pair you with a mentee by April 25th.
• Pairings will be based off of your expertise and what the mentee is interested in.
• If you are paired with a mentee, you will complete a 45 minute virtual mentor training which will be scheduled before May 1st. If you’ve already done the training with us, you will not need to do this again.
• You will facilitate an introduction with your mentee.
• You will meet with your mentee virtually for a minimum of 5 hours over the course of the program.
• Based on what topics your mentee finds most valuable, you will share your expertise in that subject. You may recommend covering more, but it will ultimately be up to your mentee.
• At the end of the program, you will complete an evaluation survey so that the program can evolve and improve.

Mentees:

• We’ll email you to let you know if we were able to pair you with a mentor by April 25th.
• Pairings will be based off of your mentor’s expertise and the topics you are interested in.
• Your mentor will reach out to you to introduce themselves.
• You will meet with your mentor virtually for a minimum of 5 hours over the course of the program.
• At the end of the program, you will complete an evaluation survey so that the program can evolve and improve.
