AIGA Santa Barbara’s final event of 2013 will be a holiday party at Norman Clayton’s Classic Letterpress in Ojai. As part of the holiday fun, guests will have the opportunity to operate a Vandercook proofing press, printing three custom cards designed by AIGA members! Want to participate? Design a letterpress holiday card to the following specs:

Create a two color design (red and gold) for one side of a folding A2 card. The dimension is 4.25″ x 5.5″. The design can be horizontal or vertical. Please design using line or vector-based artwork contained within the card dimensions (no bleeds). The red will be printed with lighter coverage so plan your type to be larger than 8pt. Design your “gold” elements for more moderate to heavy ink coverage. Please credit your design on the back of the card. Three designs will be chosen. Any questions? Contact us!
