After eight years of Portfolio Days, AIGA SB is shifting gears so this event can be even more student-centered in 2017, by reaching more students in the region we represent than with simply one large exclusive event on one day.
Our new "Portfolio Road Trips" will be much smaller and informal than past Portfolio Days. 3-5 AIGA SB members will visit college classrooms or other designated locations for presentations, career advice, roundtables, or portfolio reviews.
We're starting right here at home, with a three-hour session at Santa Barbara City College on April 18!
Students, if you attend be prepared to show five to ten pieces of your best work in graphic design, illustration, photography, multimedia or web design, or film and animation (please do not pick more than two categories). Let us know what categories of work you will be showing and what format you will be presenting—on a board, in a book, or on your laptop or tablet.
Once registered, a member of AIGA Santa Barbara will contact you to coordinate your technology needs and answer any questions you may have about the event.
