Our next stop is Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo on May 4. We're thrilled to being back in SLO!
After eight years of Portfolio Days, AIGA SB is shifting gears so this event can be even more student-centered in 2017, by reaching more students in the region we represent than with simply one large exclusive event on one day.
Our new "Portfolio Road Trips" are much smaller and informal than past Portfolio Days. 3-5 AIGA SB members will visit college classrooms or other designated locations for presentations, career advice, roundtables, or portfolio reviews.
Cal Poly students, please register using the button at left. Once registered, a member of AIGA Santa Barbara will contact you to coordinate your technology needs and answer any questions you may have about the event.
Students who attend should be prepared to show five to ten pieces of their best work in graphic design, illustration, photography, multimedia or web design (please do not pick more than two categories). Let us know what categories of work you will be showing and what format you will be presenting—on a board, in a book, or on your laptop or tablet.
Once registered, a member of AIGA Santa Barbara will contact you to coordinate your technology needs and answer any questions you may have about the event.

After the review session, AIGA SB will wind down at The Bunker across town, for our Bunker Bash pizza & beverage social!
We are also planning a stop at Allan Hancock College on 5/5. AIGA SB members, if you're interested in participating as a volunteer presenter or reviewer—helping guide a design student's career path and shaping the future of our industry—then please contact the AIGA SB Education Committee for further details:
