Portfolio Day 2016: Your Work, Your Story

Cost is $15 to present your work, or $10 to be an observer.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Wednesday April 13, 11:59pm!

Registrants, be prepared to show five to 10 pieces of your best work in graphic design, illustration, photography, multimedia or web design, or film and animation (please do not pick more than two categories). Let us know what categories of work you will be showing and what format you will be presenting—on a board, in a book, or on your laptop or tablet.

Once registered, a member of AIGA Santa Barbara will contact you to coordinate your technology needs and answer any questions you may have about the event.

Student registrants: please watch this space for more info related to this event as we get it, such as the list of reviewers.

SAFTEY NOTE: Because the event is being held on a working sound stage, Brooks requires that everyone wear closed toed shoes; no open-toed shoes or sandals. It’s a OSHA safety requirement.

Previous student attendees on AIGA SB Portfolio Day:

"AIGA Portfolio Day 2015 was a great experience for me as a graduating senior. The connections I made with industry professionals and the conversations we had about my work and career goals were extremely valuable. The review sign-ups and transitions were well-orchestrated, so I spoke to everyone I wanted to connect with, either during the reviews or breaks. I recommend Portfolio Day to any student who wants to be a creative professional."

Meagan Haneke-Hopps
Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Class of 2015

"At the 2015 AIGA Portfolio Day I was able to meet several talented and inspiring creative professionals that gave me the confidence and courage to pursue making the kind of work I really wanted to make. I could not recommend a portfolio day enough for any aspring creatives out there."

Zachary Richard Hill
