How do you navigate being both a creative and business person? Making your living in today’s world is challenging, to say the least.
Add the desire to create and you really have your hands full. It’s not enough to produce beautiful work—you need to know how to market it, price it and budget it. Strong business skills are a must for survival in this competitive market. Join AIGA Santa Barbara for a sneak peek into how some accomplished creatives have navigated these complicated waters.
Seen from several perspectives (a large NYC agency, an illustrator/graphic/web designer, a boutique branding firm, a photographer/stock image provider), the discussion of how to run a business, make money and still have fun will be enlightening.
So, do something creative with your time—join us May 14th at Photo Studio 240 and listen in. It will be informative, engaging and lots of fun!
