In this 3 hour acrylic painting workshop, Drew will guide us to explore painting in the abstract. Drew will break down the creative process he uses to make vibrant and expressive abstract paintings in an easy-to-understand way. He will share techniques using shape, value, color, and brushwork to create movement and balance in your painting.
In this class we will be working from a provided photograph, however you are welcome to bring your own image to work from if you'd like. All supplies will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring your favorite brushes, tools, or paints if you have them. Students will receive personal attention in addition to general instruction each step along the way. This class is for all skill levels!
Join us on Sunday, September 8th, 2-5pm at Third Window Brewing in Santa Barbara. Drinks and food will be available for purchase at the location.
Please reserve your spot ahead of time so that we can make sure to bring enough supplies. This event is $50 for AIGA members and $60 for nonmembers.
