It was a decade* ago that twenty intrepid creative professionals founded the Central Coast's AIGA chapter, and we're celebrating their gumption and our chapter's history! It's been a great ride so far: four presidents, scores of board members, over one hundred design events from Ventura to Santa Barbara to San Luis Obispo, and much much more. We will be recognizing and thanking our founding members, past presidents, and board members for their pioneering volunteer work.

For our birthday, AIGA SB is throwing a bag party, and we ask that you bring gifts—for each other! Show up with 10 copies of your work—a brochure, promo piece, illustration, or whatever you'd like to show that represents what you do. No need to be fancy; color copies will do just fine if you can't spare the real thing. Upon check-in, you'll get your own bag to fill—so meet and greet your fellow creative 805ers and exchange your work!

For those items too costly to make 10 copies, we'll put them on the prize table. Books, wine, signed posters—whatever won't fit in a bag or is too impractical to mass produce—will be displayed with your contact info and awarded as prizes to attendees. Don't forget your business cards!
