Design for Good “24 Hour Blitz” at CLU, April 9-10

The AIGA student chapter of Cal Lutheran University is seeking professional designers willing to volunteer at their Design for Good “24 Hour Blitz” on April 9 and 10. This event gives local non-profit organizations an opportunity to use their funding on the focus of their organization. CLU AIGA will be provide food, drinks, and snacks for all designers willing to volunteer their time and skills at the event.

Held at the Center of Entrepreneurship at CLU’s satellite campus in Westlake, the event teams participating professional designers with one California Lutheran alumni designer, two California Lutheran Multimedia students, and a local non-profit organization. A representative from that organization will meet with its assigned team and explain what they need regarding media and design, and following that session the team will take 24 hours to complete the project. At a Wrap-Up Party two weeks after the event, each design team will present their final products to their respective nonprofits.

Designers interested in volunteering should contact CLU AIGA AdvisorDan Restuccio for further details.
