KCSB is hosting the annual UCRN Conference this year, and one of the many panels this weekend will discuss nonprofit branding and identity. Check it out:
“Identity and Vision: Projecting Your Station’s Mission”
2:30-3:45 p.m.
“Branding” may sound like a dirty word in the world of college radio, but the concept can be used as a guide to a clear and unifying vision for any organization. Calia Minassian (a KCSB alum) and Jacob Tell, both from local Santa Barbara marketing firm Oniracom, will present on the value of a consistent identity and concrete strategies that college radio stations can use to increase their visibility. A Q&A session will follow their presentation.
