Community Event: Noche de Cultura 5/23

Later this month, the Casa de la Raza will host an exhibition of work by celebrated printmaker and digital artist Favianna Rodriguez. Known for refocusing the cultural lens to bring new audiences into the art world, Rodriguez has been hailed as “visionary” and “ubiquitous” for her vivid, vibrant images of war, immigration, globalization, and social movements. Also on exhibit will be artwork from local 805 artist, teacher, danzante and activist Veronica Valadez.

When: Friday, May 23, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
